Prohibition of the sale or offer for sale of products with VOC concentrations in Canada

VANCOUVER, September 10, 2012 – On September 10, 2012 came into force the prohibition of the sale or offer for sale of products with VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) concentrations that exceed the limits set out in the Volatile Organic Compound Concentration Limits for Architectural Coatings Regulations (See communication from Environment Canada below).

HERO can make the claim that they are the only “design ready” automatic dispenser for the Zero and Low VOC colorant systems in North America. This is due to the fact that the HERO automatic dispenser line is the newest in the industry and was designed in Europe at a time when 70% of all color systems were already Zero VOC designed, therefore establishing the requirements for HERO’s line to be ready for the entry of Low and Zero VOC colorants into the North American market an easy transition for our customers. In other words, there will be no added expense for any of HERO’s automatic dispenser, or even manual machine customers, in having to upgrade their machines to accommodate the new colorants. For more information contact [email protected]

ENVIRONMENT CANADA COMMUNICATION

"Dear Madam or Sir,

Your company has been identified as a possible retailer and/or distributor of paints and coatings in Canada. This letter is to inform you of the Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) Concentration Limits for Architectural Coatings Regulations (the Regulations) and how they may impact you.

The Regulations were published in the Canada Gazette, Part II, on September 30, 2009. The purpose of the Regulations is to protect the environment and health of Canadians by introducing VOC concentration limits for 53 categories of paints, stains, varnishes and other architectural coatings. The Regulations prohibit the manufacture, sale or offer for sale, import and use of architectural coatings with VOC concentrations that exceed the applicable limit.

On September 9, 2010, the prohibition of the manufacture or import of 46 categories of products with VOC concentrations that exceed the limits set out in the Regulations came into force. The prohibition of the sale or offer for sale of these same 46 categories of products with VOC concentrations that exceed the limits set out in the Regulations will come into force on September 10, 2012. Please note in addition to ensuring that complying with the concentration limits, sellers also must meet labeling and record keeping requirements under the Regulations. Failure to comply with these Regulations is an offence under the Canadian Environmental Protection Act, 1999 (CEPA, 1999).

A fact sheet that summarizes the key requirements of the Regulations is enclosed for your reference. The fact sheet is not intended to substitute the Regulations and any discrepancies between this notice and the Regulations, the official text of the Regulations will prevail. The Regulations can be accessed on the CEPA Environmental Registry Website at: http://www.ec.gc.ca/lcpe-cepa/. Additional information on VOC can be found at: http://www.ec.gc.ca/cov-voc.

If you have any further questions regarding these Regulations or to receive more information, please do not hesitate to contact the undersigned.

HERO Products announces the introduction of the 900-Series

VANCOUVER, June 26, 2012 – HERO Products announced that they have introduced the 900-Series to the automatic dispenser product line. This range of models provides the largest volume canisters (over 23 quarts), with the smallest footprint of all machines in the category. The introduction of the 900-Series fills out the current category requirements for the auto dispenser market and provides HERO customers with a complete range of auto dispensers, from the 100-Series, launched 2 years ago as the smallest fully automatic dispenser in the market, to the new 900-Series, which touts the largest colorant vessels available in the market, aligned with the smallest modules, giving this product a competitive edge on two important fronts.

Much effort has gone into the 1 and 5-gallon shelf/roller conveyor combination, in order to facilitate the highest number of 1-gallon can staging, while giving consideration to the need to be able to convert from a 1-gallon to a 5-gallon configuration in just seconds. However we didn’t design it ourselves. We worked with two of the largest paint companies in the industry, and took back several of their recommendations, in order to deliver a final product that will aid in keeping pace with the busy paint dealers and high volume corporate store and retailer requirements.

Over the past 5 years, HERO has grown to be one of the world’s largest producers of automatic dispensing machines, employing the Progressing Cavity Pump, or “PCP” pumping technology. This technology has been vetted by such institutions as Massachusetts Institute of Technology “MIT”., who have claimed that the PCP technology is the best “fit for purpose” pumping technology for the Low and Zero VOC colorants, now populating North America. HERO has produced and sold over 14,000 automatic dispensers from its 5 production facilities around the world. Today, HERO is the only equipment manufacturer that can provide the same technology to the global paint companies, from 5 regional and strategically located production plants, insuring constant quality, accuracy and repeatability.

The HERO Products Group of ICTC Holdings Corporation, with its head office in Canada, is a 43-year old Canadian company primarily engaged in the design, development, manufacture and distribution of tinting and mixing equipment for the paint and coatings industry. It has representation in most countries of the world and manufacturing, together with sales and marketing operations in: Vancouver, Canada; Turin, Italy; Mumbai, India; and Guangzhou; China and Sao Paulo Brazil. The product lines include colorant dispensing and mixing equipment for point of sale, in-plant production equipment and automotive refinish.

HERO Introduces a Two Color System 24 Canister Automatic Colorant Dispenser

Vancouver, B.C. - Press Release

HERO now offers its clients the ability to combine two complete colorant systems within one compact dispenser. This 24 canister configuration is available in three different models; A200, A250 and A450. The A200 and A250 are designed for small to mid size paint retailers and only require 34.5" diameter floor space. In most cases this is not much more than the space required by a store's existing manual floorstand dispenser. The model A450 is designed for mid to large volume stores and delivers an outstanding .3L/min x 4 circuits or 1.2L/min dispense capability. This unit is also very compact at only 52" wide x 29"Deep x 50" height.

All above models incorporate HERO's patented Progressive Cavity Pump (PCP) dispensing technology. PCP is an industry proven, unique, innovative, and revolutionary pump design which allows HERO to offer the first truly low maintenance automatic colorant dispensers. In fact, we believe it offers the lowest cost of ownership available on the market today. The models A200, A250 and A450 incorporate this PCP technology into their unique cartridge design pump which allows for quick, clean and simple replacement. In addition, these models further reduce yearly maintenance costs as they do not suffer calibration drift like competing technologies.

HERO Releases New Automatic Dispenser – Model A450

Vancouver, B.C. - Press Release The Eureka A450 incorporates HERO's new patented Progressive Cavity Pump (PCP) dispensing technology. This new, innovative, and revolutionary pump design allows HERO to offer the first truly low maintenance automatic colorant dispenser. In fact, we believe it offers the lowest cost of ownership available on the market today. The A450 incorporates this PCP technology into its unique cartridge design pump which allows for quick, clean and simple replacement. In addition, the A450 will further reduce yearly maintenance costs as it does not suffer calibration drift like competing technologies.

HERO has also solved the problem of colorants drying in the nozzles, thanks to the A450's ability to reverse the flow of colorant through the pump. This unique feature is referred to as draw back, and occurs at the end of each dispense. The pump reverses rotation and draws back the colorant inside the nozzles. This minimizes contact of colorant with air, thereby reducing colorant drying. This dispenser is also equipped with a capper closing mechanism which helps to keep the nozzles air tight. The Eureka A450 is an innovative automatic dispenser designed to meet the needs of a medium volume paint retailer. It can simultaneously dispense up to 4 colorants. That's approximately 40 ounces per minute! Furthermore, the A450 offers precision unmatched by its rivals. This unit will dispense down to 1/1000 of a fluid ounce (0.03 ml)! It also operates within a +/-1% error on average dispenses.

Disposition on Non-core Business Segment

Vancouver, B.C. - Press Release

VANCOUVER March 20, 2008 – I.C.T.C. Holdings Corporation ("ICTC"), wishes to announce that its HERO Products Group ("HERO") has sold its non-core airless paint sprayer business to Graco Inc., of Minneapolis MN. HERO will gradually phase out sales over the coming months. Thereafter, HERO shall support its loyal airless customer base with parts and warranty obligations, to meet their life cycle expectations.

This divestiture enables HERO to focus on its core business. Since HERO's introduction into the dispensing business in 1977, and more recently since the development of the HERO 2000 Series colorant dispenser, HERO has been gaining strength in the capital goods segment of color delivery globally. HERO acquired Highland Laboratories in 2005, a full line manufacturer of paint mixers, shakers and dispensing equipment. Early last year, HERO acquired a similar company in India, formed a Joint Venture in China, and in May 2007, acquired a high tech producer of in-plant and automated Point of Sale dispensing devices, located in Turin Italy. The combination of these strategic moves was done to leverage HERO's strong global customer base and to become a provider of a full line of dispensing and mixing equipment. HERO is one of the world's three largest suppliers to this market segment.

I.C.T.C. announces acquisition of Highland Laboratories; supporting commentary

The HERO Products Group, a division of I.C.T.C. Holdings of Vancouver British Columbia, has agreed to acquire the assets of Highland's paint products; HERO had been distributing Highland products in Canada since 1993. This longstanding agreement was forged on a handshake and continued favourably for both parties during the past 13 years. During that time, HERO created a large installed base of Highland produced products, and experienced only very minor service issues. This relationship spawned many longstanding business relationships with several major paint companies and retailers in Canada and abroad.

In my view, says Steve Balmer, President of I.C.T.C., the Highland products speak volumes about quality, simplicity and address many current paint store requirements. Highland has a strong following of dealers and their products are very complementary to the HERO Products Group's current offering of paint equipment. Highland has an installed base of well in excess of 10,000 pieces of equipment, many of which have been in service for decades. The product range consists of manual colorant dispensing machines, semi-automatic colorant dispensers and automatic colorant dispensers, mixers, shakers and industrial mixing devices. This line blends well into the HERO line of manuals, automatics, mixers and shakers, placing I.C.T.C. Holdings as a leader with respect to sales and product range depth domestically. The Highland products will be marketed under the "Highland by HERO" identification, and will continue to be produced in Ashland, Massachusetts. I.C.T.C. Holdings Corporation is on an aggressive expansion plan to form a comprehensive line of paint equipment products for the global paint industry.

New Employee Computer Systems Support

Please join me in welcoming Christina Song as our newest addition to the I.C.T.C staff. Christina will fill the role of Computer Systems Support Specialist / Senior Accountant. Over time, she will develop into a first-level, systems support role answering all computer-related questions regarding problems and requests from our staff. She will also handle the responsibility of general ledger maintenance and preparing monthly financial statements.

Christina's portfolio is impressive. She graduated from Beijing Foreign Studies University Bachelor of Arts program with great distinction, has an Accounting Certificate of Achievement from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology and Graduated with honour from B.C.I.T. where she obtained her Diploma of Computer Technology. When in Beijing, Christina worked as journalist for the Xinhua News Agency where she reported on major Sino-Russian diplomatic events and covered special reports on Russian cultural performances and visiting delegations. She also wrote and translated daily news reports in Russian, English and Chinese. As you can see, Christina brings a dynamic aspect to I.C.T.C. that will significantly benefit the Company as we endeavour to expand our business into new markets with new products, implementing the technologies that this growth will require.

Let's all help in making Christina feel as a welcome member to the I.C.T.C. team.
